In 2013, the Greater Miami Mission Team that formed at Freed-Hardeman University, moved to the Greater Miami area of Florida in the specific city of Coral Springs with the goal to start a Spanish-speaking congregation in a community that had zero churches. In 2014, they were able to establish the first-ever church in the city of Coral Springs, where the Hispanic population is strong and growing (50,000+). The church began purely with the Mission Team and since then they have been working to strengthen the church in Coral Springs so that it can serve as a foundation to develop more Christians, as well as churches, throughout the ever-growing Hispanic world of the Greater Miami Area (6 million+).
